Italian publishing group Gambero Rosso has announced that it will go public in late September this year. The company will be listed on AIM Italia, the market of Borsa Italiana devoted to Italian small and medium enterprises.
The initial public offering will end on 24 September. Currently, it is still possible to participate in the shares offering, more information and detail on: www.gamberorosso.it
“The transaction will take place only through a capital increase up to a maximum of €7m” – says Paolo Cuccia, CEO of Gambero Rosso – “As for revenues, we have revived our product mix, focusing in particular on organising international events. We have also grown across a number of sectors, namely: television, digital and training whilst consolidating our position in relation to editorial content.”
The publishing group Gambero Rosso was founded in 1986 specialising in reviews of quality food. In 1998 Gambero Rosso entered into TV.
In 2014 Gambero Rosso recorded a turnover of €15m (EBITDA of €3.4m) returning to a profit of €1m. This positive financial performance was also due to a gradual cut in the work force, from 145 employees in 2010 to its current 90 employees.
