Kinexia website is a company listed on the Italian Stock Exchange (FTSE Italia Small Cap), it operates in the field of renewable energy and environment. On April 24, Kinexia presented the industrial plan for the period 2015 -2017 which will be carried out in partnership with its two subsidiaries, namely: Waste Italia, a waste management and environmental services company and Innovatec, a company that operates in the sector of renewable energy and energy efficiency.

 

According to the company’s financial projections, Innovatec’s revenues are forecast to be €39m in 2017 (EBIDTA of €7m), while Waste Italia turnover is forecast to rise to €152m (EBIDTA of €66m). Innovatec’s revenues are likely to increase by 55 per cent by the end of 2015 (€32m in 2014); Waste Italia’s sales volume is likely to increase also by 55 per cent (€131m) over the same period .

In March 2015, Kinexia signed two key agreements to strengthen its position internationally. The first agreement was signed with Biancamano, an Italian company operating in the field of Waste Management – Urban Cleaning services, treatment of municipal waste and management of plants for selection and recovery of non-hazardous waste.

The two companies, Kinexia and Biancamano, signed a memorandum of understanding with the Iranian authorities regarding the construction and management of an advanced technology plant for the enhancement of waste disposal activities in the city of Karaj. The second agreement was signed with Albania Landfil Energy. Kinexia, in partnership with Albania Landfil Energy won the tender for the construction and management of the new landfill located in Manez, Albania.

On March 17, Kinexia appointed Enrico Friz as the new CEO of the subsidiary Waste Italia. Friz, 52 years old, graduated in Agronomy at the University of Padua, has a long experience in the environmental sector. He was the Former Director of the Business Unit Industry Environment in the A2A Group, a Milan-based multi-utility company listed on the Milan Stock Exchange.

 

Flavio Raimondo is the CEO of the subsidiary Innovatec, while Pietro Colucci is the CEO and Chairman of Kinexia Group, founded in 2008. From 2006 to 2011 Colucci was the Chairman of ASSOAMBIENTE, an Italian association that within FISE (a member of the Italian Confederation of Industrial Companies), represents the Italian private companies working in the field of environmental services.
