Novavision Group is a well – established and dynamic Italian high-tech company founded in 1986 by entrepreneur Flavio Peralda. Over the years, the Group based in Misinto, near Monza (Northern Italy), has been growing in domestic as well as in international markets. It specialises in the design and production of electronic devices aimed at professional aesthetics, dermatology and gynaecology. The Group’s main brands are Novaestetyc and Novalaser.
In 2014, the Group’s turnover was circa €10m (EBITDA: 20 per cent) and the Group’s target for 2015 is a growth in sales of 30 per cent. Furthermore, Novavision is the only Italian company specialising in biotechnologies which operates in China. In 2012, the Group opened a branch in Shanghai for the distribution of medical devices and it also provides training courses.
In 2014, the company invested eight per cent of total turnover in R&D. Over the last four years the company has employed young-bright people, a clear sign of the company’s success but also a strategy to maintain a high level of competitiveness and innovation. In fact, 80 per cent of new hires are under 35. However, Novavision says that has encountered difficulties in recruiting electronic engineers.
Flavio Peralda, CEO of Novavision, said:
“Since December 2014 we have increased export activities and in just four months we hired three Regional Business Managers (in the Far East, the Middle East and in South America). Over the same time period, we entered eight new international markets and we expect to enter ten new markets by the end of this year”.
Talking about the new products for 2015, Peralda added:
“By the end of 2015 we will have launched a revolutionary new device in the gynaecological field. In particular it will benefit those with fertility problems and other pathologies. We foresee that this new device, which represents a new frontier in the medical field, could double our current turnover”.
