To optimise production costs, the Alluminio Agnelli Group has also created a new company: Alugreen, a smelter factory that recycles 20,000 tons of aluminium per year. This has made the company independent from the international metal supply market and allowed it to be an eco-sustainable company, halving carbon dioxide emissions and saving 95 per cent of electricity.
